Orthodontists

Dai Roberts-Harry, BDS, MSc, FDS RCPS (Glas), FDS (Edin), FDS (Eng), M Orth, D Orth.

Qualified from kings College London in 1978. He is a Consultant Orthodontist at the Leeds General Infirmary and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leeds. He is the Clinical Director for the Northern and Yorkshire Cleft Lip and Palate Service and President of the Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and Ireland 2002-2003. He was formerly Head of the Department of Orthodontics at the Leeds Dental Institute. He has been awarded honorary fellowships by both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England.

James Spencer BDS, MSc, FDS (Orth) RCS (Eng), MOrth

Qualified from Bristol in 1987. Following two years in general dental practice returned to hospital practice. He Gained Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1992. He undertook his Specialist Orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Institute, London gaining an MSc in 1995 and Morth in 1996 in which he was awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding candidate. All the clinicians are registered on the General Dental Council Specialist List.  They are involved in and committed to postgraduate education and have many research publications.  They have all lectured extensively both in this country and abroad.
