Anyone can benefit from orthodontic treatment and with new technology, leading to reduced treatment times and inconspicuous braces, an ever-increasing number of adults and children are undergoing treatment. We offer, clear braces, lingual braces and Invisalign aligners as well as traditional metal braces. Conveniently loacted in Harrogate we provide care for patients from the nearby areas of Knaresborough, Ripon, Wetherby, Tadcaster, York, Leeds and all locations in North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. NHS treatment is available to eligible patients aged under 18 years and is intended to provide treatment for those who require it on the grounds of health. For those patients not eligible for NHS treatment, we will be happy to discuss the options for private care and our in-house finance scheme. Fixed braces are capable of very precise tooth movements and we use state of the art Damon braces. Traditional braces use elastics to hold wires in place which creates friction and slows tooth movement. New age Damon braces use a friction free slide mechanism, allowing teeth to move more freely and comfortably that ever before.

Clear fixed braces. Ceramic (tooth coloured) brackets are used instead of the metal ones. We use In-Ovation C, braces which are very popular particular with adult patients who may feel conscious about wearing metal braces.

Lingual braces. These are fitted to the inner (tongue) side of the teeth. This makes the brace invisible to the outside world!

Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners that are custom-moulded to fit you. The virtually invisible aligners gradually reposition your teeth into a smile you'll be proud of and thousands of adults have already benefited from this treatment. The Roberts-Harry Clinic is one of the UK’s leading Invisalign practices and we are proud to be the only Invisalign Platinum Provider in the North East of England. We were awarded this status because of the large number of cases treated at the Clinic.

Removable braces are occasionally used for simple tooth movements. These have a plastic palate with delicate wires that gently guide the teeth into position.

Functional (Twin Block) braces are used to straighten top teeth that stick out a lot. These powerful braces are capable of fantastic improvements particularly in challenging cases.
